SPIRITUAL WARFARE
What is it and how do we wage it? Every Christian is called to the battle. Are you equipped to fight it? Do you know what you are fighting? Do you know the weapon that God has given to you? Tonight's guest and his teaching will equip you to engage in the real battle–the battle for the minds of men and women.

Many “experts” on spiritual warfare teach a methodology for battling demons, taking territory, and canceling curses that sounds like something you would expect to find in a Harry Potter novel. Practices such as binding and rebuking Satan, canceling generational curses, and spiritual mapping are popular in many Christian circles and taught in many non-charismatic conservative churches. But are they biblical?

Many of the practices and doctrines of the modern spiritual warfare movement are not grounded in Scripture. Scripture describes spiritual warfare as a battle for TRUTH, not TERRITORY. When the Bible alone informs our understanding of spiritual warfare, we are forced to abandon the man-made carnal weapons of the modern methodology. The Gospel is the truth and the power for victory over sin and eternal life with God.

Our guest tonight is Pastor, Author, Jim Osman

Jim is known for his books exposing false teachers and correcting their errors. His books are recommended by well-known Christian pastors, authors, and evangelists, like John MacArthur, Justin Peters, Phil Johnson, and Andrew Rappaport. Jim has lived in Sandpoint, Idaho since he was three years old. Jim attended Kootenai Community Church as a youth and was called by God to Christ at Cocolalla Lake Bible Camp in the summer of 1987. Jim attended Millar College of the Bible in Pambrun, Saskatchewan, and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Ministries in April of 1995. He was inducted into the Honor Society of the Association of Canadian Bible Colleges and appointed a member of Pi Alpha Mu. Jim was appointed preaching elder of Kootenai Community Church in December of 1996. Now he counts it his greatest privilege to be involved in ministering in the church that ministered to him for so many years.

Not everyone who calls himself a Christian is a follower of Jesus Christ

I'm a little confused. Jesus says in my name you will cast out devils. Where does it say by getting someone saved is how to cast them out? I also don't agree that God makes People sick simply to show His works manifest. The guy was born blind simply because he was born in a fallen world. Otherwise, why are there thousands that are born blind today not healed so that Gods works may be manifest. So I can't agree that God caused him to be blind but it was a simple declaration that the works of God were to be manifest regardless of the cause. Satan is used by God for judgement. God is not the one making people sick allowing satan to smite. God is the healer and deliverer. I will never accuse God of making me sick.
