In this video, you will learn how to remove local admin rights on Windows using the AD Pro Toolkit.

Local admin rights are users or groups that are a member of the local administrator group. If a user is a member of a specific group it could give them admin rights to the local computer. Users with admin rights have full permissions to the local computer and could inadvertently install malicious software that could compromise the entire system or network.

With the AD Pro Toolkit you can quickly scan all your computers and see which users/groups are a member of the local administrator group. You can then select accounts on multiple computers and remove them from the admin group. In addition, you can export the report to a csv file and audit all local groups.

Summary of steps:

1. Scan all domain computers or select an OU.
2. Review the local admins report and identify users and groups to remove.
3. Export report to CSV for a backup.
4. Select accounts and click the "Remove member" button.

The "Remove member" button does not delete the account it just removes it from the local administrator group. To delete the account from the local computer click the "Delete User" button.
