i would suggest for saftey that you mount that on to a motorcycle helmet instead of to your head. i don't know, attatching a rod to your head while rollerskating around running people and bouncing balls is an invitation for injury. don't get me wrong. i LOVE the inginuity. I just don't want you to get hurt. i think the higher tech solution would be to use VR glasses or if your can get a video out through USB-C just basic XREAL or VIRTURE AR glasses. really have loved your channel for years.

It is beautiful to see you continue to make films during a time when many others left the film industry due to the deterioration of the market. I salute you for your struggle. Having left the film industry, I lost the passion and that beautiful feeling of working. . I have returned to it, but it was not an easy process. I had to double my efforts.

Call me crazy but what about an augmented reality headset (Apple Vision Pro or Meta Quest 3)

Really enjoyed this. Impressed by the amount of options you trialled! This reminds me of when I was trying to DIY a DSLR filming scanning setup... Also you learning to skate backwards was worth it regardless; lifelong cool points now up your sleeve to whip that out as a party trick. The line "If you know me, you know I will jump through a bunch of hoops before asking for help" triggered the part of my brain with the stereotypes of men getting lost because they refuse to ask for directions 🤐 I was really happy to see the collaboration and cooperation triumph at the end of this story 😊

I literally was thinking of making something like this Yesterday, and then I saw this video!

I've also seen some posts on Reddit about people using the Nreal Air display glasses as a camera monitor during gimbal operation.

Certainly more expensive but might be cool to explore due to their lightweightness and being up close to your eyes!

To make it light so it’s not so heavy 3-D print you some parts or they give me some GoPro parts you can use and skating backwards on rollerblades it’s like skating forward, but I do it like how I hockey players do it kind of glide backwards

Apple Vision pro from a Chinese oem will be much better in this regards. Windowed viewfinder on the virtual screen playing realtime environment feed.

Definitely a helmet instead of your forehead would make a difference, me thinks. Nice work nonetheless!

Why not just use display glasses or a vr headset?
