kitchen knife and meat cleaver have great throwing charge for their weight making them less melee and more "throwables"

Personally, I would have put the hatchet in S tier because it takes up little space in the inventory, consumes little stamina, and kills with two hits to the head, like the crowbar, the machete or the pipe. You just have to manage the hitbox by keeping your distance to attack the walkers without them hitting you

That tierlist turned out closer than I expected to my actual tierlist, which is quite awesome. Machete is for sure the best melee in the game, small inventory space, can one hit runners and zombie kids, and two hits shamblers (unless you charge it for a little bit, then it becomes an one hit as well). Hatchet to be honest is not so far off from the machete, it has the problem of not being able to one hit runners, but it has everything else the machete has, so it tends to be my alternative whenever I can't find a machete in a map. Pickaxe is my third favorite melee, it can one hit any zombie in the game, has a fast attack swing when compared to some other heavy melee weapons, and also requires less inventory space than the other heavy melee weapons as well, and it is very good for situations where you have to deal with a ton of hordes. The other melee weapons I don't use as much, but the crowbar and the pipe are the only other ones I tend to use reliably, they are quite good as well, just like the hatchet, but I appreciate the fact that the hatchet requires less inventory space, so I don't see them as better than the hatchet, but they are still pretty good tho. Will be looking forward to possibly other tierlists!

I think sledgehammer kill with one swing is better than the fire axe at killing fire axe kill with two swings but the sledge hammer kill with one like the pick axe and fubar but they consume your 40% or 60% of your inventory but I change my opinion about the machete is the best melee weopon in the game a give her a chance and she turn so great like you said one shot runners and kids😅

I think I'd nearly agree with you on all points except on your ranking for the Pickaxe, its uncharged sideways swing gets the job done and can dispatch several zombies at once with one hit. It has served me well and I would swap its place with the Lead Pipe. Although all things considered it might just mirror my playstyle in NMRIH in favouring the bigger weapons. Good tierlist overall! ;D

i personally hardly disagree with your ranking on sledge and pickaxe, first of all the pickaxe is lighter than sledge AND fireaxe making it useful to carry more ammo, secondly if you didn't know you can abuse the charging mechanic by holding m1 and letting go when the charging animation plays this allows you to attack WITHOUT using any stamina making it useful to chain kills, either way thanks for reviving this game it's one of my favourites!

probably personal pref but i usually always grab the fubar or sledge and run door clear duty, I guess its because i tend to be the "aggroman" for teams during defense and puzzle time and I always have a teammate with something faster. its a pretty good support tool imo for dealing with killboxes, a fubar in a doorway is a monster WHEN they have stamina and backup

Fast heavy attack with the sledgehammer is OP, much better than the fireaxe, should have been high A or straight up S tier, inventory space doesn't matter if it's literally the only weapon you need.

Pipe is probably my favorite, little stamina drain and if you get 2 zombies close enough you can destroy both of them with a charged swing

I like knife, its very light weight and pretty effective with charge attacks. If only we could use knife with stabbing instead of slashing for better hitboxes and accuracy

Inaccurate, the fist Isnt In the tierlist, I beat the fuck out of shamblers and runners with fist while Im carrying an M16A2 with full ammo that Im never gonna use at the end of boardwalk. Also good tierlist btw.

Pickaxe is S-tier, it one-shots runners and kids. I know it takes some space of the inventory, but well its my opinion. Machete is high S-tier, though.
