First responders reflect on deadly Wyoming I-80 tunnel crash

As the investigation into a deadly Wyoming crash continues, first responders are reflecting on the devastating scene they encountered that day.

The crash in an I-80 tunnel on Friday has claimed the lives of three people and left dozens of others injured.

“This is the biggest one we’ve seen, that I’ve seen,” said acting chief Bill Robinson with the Green River Fire Department.

At the station Monday, first responders gathered for a barbecue put on by community members and the United Steel Workers.

So tragic. I was living in Chamonix, France when the horrific fire happened in the Mont Blanc Tunnel - Condolences to all those who lost loved ones, friends, family or colleagues in this awful tragedy. Respect to those first responders around the world, who put their lives at risk whenever they go out to a scene.

Who is at fault who caused the crash 😮 that is what media isn't telling us 😮 I'm a truck driver from Utah I avoid 80 through Wyoming in the winter months because of backups and lot of people in a hurry and to many people in a tunnel at one time semi trucks trying to pass in the tunnel probably is to blame 😊

Im curious to no what happened lots of things could go wrong fast definitely, ive seen 2 way traffic in tunnels if people spread out, following distance its ok but piggy back 2 way tunnel bad idea
