loving the gp spam i actually re-picked up gp after watching you and when i used to play him i had less than 50% win rate and now im at a 65% win rate with him. such a fun champ to play and one of my favs to watch.

If you want to counter Garen you have to use commons sense, that's why majority of the playerbase dies to him lvl 2

13:33 why would you stay in lane after taking a bunch of tower shots while you haven’t seen Garen flash and you know he has his ult up and your so low with a bunch of mana and not using w to try and heal back up a little?

I actually know a friend who tried to play League, and he focused on simple-designs of champs because of a disability he suffers with. He absolutely *adored* Garen, and he even got a penta once on him! It was in norms while leveling up accounts mind you, but for someone who physically struggles as much as him, it was bloody wonderful.

Because of this memory, I will always have a soft spot for Garen.

However it didn't take long for my friend to quit league. It just wasn't catered to someone as casual as he was, which he said was fine. He had fun for awhile and that's all he wanted, so it was nothing but a positive experience for him.

P.S. When we played together, we were on a skype call, and ffs *all I heard from him* was *DEMACIAAAA* he thought it was so hilarious and silly to hear Garen yelling that. Seriously, he full-on cracked up every time, I still don't even see why that's funny but there was so much joy to his laughter that I ended up laughing too. Sometimes if Garen shouted DEMACIAA enough, we would have a lot of deaths.

I'm kind of starting to pick up gp again. Your challenger specate video really helped a lot. If you place barrels on top of enemies you can also practice the correct timing and get better at the champ.

I used to play garen and it has enabled me to be a better player now that I play champs that are hard for me because I learned how to farm better than most everybody at my player lvl and learned how to bait my opponents with minions and other things but I completely agree with you it got really boring really fast and that’s why I stopped playing him.
