Rabbi, I listened to your whole message and what I took from it is the following. A visceral understanding of what German Jews believed in 1933. "We're Germans, they said, we've fought for Germany in WWI, we've contributed in science and business and philosophy and art...we belong here"!....Well, "the wisdom of the crowd" had a completely opposite perspective and we all know how the assumptions of those German Jews were so tragically mistaken. I also am quite shocked that you place so much emphasis on the "wisdom of the crowd"...Hitler also used the "wisdom of the crowd" to manipulate them to support his agenda and I really hope that Trump, with nothing to lose in his final term, can be corralled and his message mitigated, by thinking humans everywhere.

What does it teach us? That 1933 was not unique, and now people who have a brain can finally understand how that happened. If Einstein really said this quote attributed to him “Only two things are infinite, the universe and human stupidity, and I'm not sure about the former.”, he gave us more wisdom than we deserve, because we still don't believe him.
