DIO - Rainbow in the Dark (Harp Twins) Electric Harp

Rainbow in the Dark has been on our “to arrange” list for years and we’re thrilled to finally release our cover of this metal classic! We love the magical and ethereal feeling that the harps give to the song. One of our favorite parts of our arrangement is our version of the solo. While rehearsing, Kennerly kept playing the main guitar riff while Camille improvised over it. We think we gave a nod to Campbell’s original solo while creating our own distinct Harp Twins flair. :) :) Everything you hear in our arrangement is exactly how we can perform it live with our 2 harps: no backtracks, loops or overlays. I loved C's lyrical solo and the synergy created with K's sustaining, distinctive melodic riff. The lighting effects - so perfectly on point! Rockin' outfits! You and your mom absolutely rocked this video production, and I salute you for so fantastically capturing this in such freezing cold wintery conditions! Wow! I grew up mainly on Country & Western as well as some rock. I never before heard of Dio or this song. I enjoyed listening to it for the first time and just watched the video since I could not watch it at work. Loved the whole thing including the lighting effects!! Looking forward to seeing this live at a future show!! ;)
