DID YOU THINK TO PRAY? - children's choir arr. by Angie Killian & Monica Scott
Показать описание
Angie Killian & Monica Scott are excited to share their arrangement of the beloved hymn “Did You Think to Pray?” arranged for children’s or women’s voices. Even though “Did You Think to Pray?” was written nearly 150 years ago, its powerful message of prayer and hope is just as important today. This song has blessed my home and my children, and I have loved hearing them sing it at random times throughout the day. When they find themselves in need of comfort, peace, or protection, these are the words I want to come to their mind: “Don't forget to pray.” #DidYouThinkToPray

Lyrics
Ere you left your room this morning,
Did you think to pray?
In the name of Christ, our Savior,
Did you sue for loving favor
As a shield today?
Chorus:
Oh, how praying rests the weary!
Prayer will change the night to day.
So, when life gets dark and dreary,
Don’t forget to pray.
When your heart was filled with anger,
Did you think to pray?
Did you plead for grace, my brother,
That you might forgive another
Who had crossed your way?
Chorus
When sore trials came upon you,
Did you think to pray?
When your soul was full of sorrow,
Balm of Gilead did you borrow
At the gates of day?
Chorus
Don’t forget to pray.
