Literally every single M vehicle have a 2000km break-in period, after which they change the oil, remove the RPM limiter and enable launch control.
Hell, all cars do have a run-in period.

Great review and great car without a doubt....but way, way to expensive. For that kind of cash i would get a 911 without thinking twice.
