In 2013 Sony announced a new and revolutionary racing game to help usher in the PlayStation 4 called Driveclub. This is the story of the racer meant to ride the wave of a new and exciting generation of connected social games but ultimately crashed at the finish line, leading to its studio's collapse and changing how we look at connected games forever.

Despite its troubled development and rough launch period, Driveclub still holds up. It really deserves a PS5 remaster or sequel.

To this day, Driveclub remains an absolute graphics benchmark. No other racing game has better looking weather effects.

It's sad that Sony will probably keep this IP in the fridge forever. If it only got remastered for PS5, it's criminal for this game to remain locked at 1080p and 30fps.
