All Christians believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died on the cross for our sins, rose from the dead, and will come back to judge the world. All Christian denominations (besides Jehovah's witnesses and Mormons) believe in the trinity, as in the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Catholics along with Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox believe they are the one true church founded by Jesus, and that the church holds equal authority to the Bible. Protestants hold the Bible as the ultimate authority, emphasizing how faith in Jesus Christ is more important than works or tradition.

Catholicism is not truly Christian. They pray to saints and idols.. some may get mad at that statement, but it goes against what is actually written in the bible.. how can you say you read the word of God but do the opposite of some core things of God's word..

I used to be Protestant (Baptist) but am Catholic because Catholics and Eastern/Oriental Orthodox Christians have more or less been around since the time of the Apostles whereas Baptists have only existed since 1609 AD and the fact that Catholics never changed their views on things like contraception and divorce/remarriage(which the Bible explicitly condemns) and have the best arguments for the existence of God

I think Jesus gave us 2 commands.
1. Love God with all of your being and strength .
2. Love ithers as Jesus has loved us.
This is whst everyone should be trying to do

Jesus says “Whoever does mighty works in my name can not also speak ill of me” (Mark 9:39) He was pretty much predicting that there would be so much conflict amongst his church. There is no need to argue about who is the right one, we should be united in preaching the gospel to those who haven’t been exposed to it rather than arguing within the church.

It is good that Catholics now recognize salvation is by grace and not deeds. Also good that they now preach the gospel in the language of their attendants. ♥️

I don't know. I grew up in the church, and it always seemed like if the Bible was the actual perfect word of a 'God' to his 'children', there should be no disagreements on any translation and there would be only one sect of Christianity. Just the fact that this isn't the case, kind of shows me that the Bible 'is' a book of confusion.
But again, I don't know :-/

The fact that there are even denominations is absurd. Faith/god isn't cultural or interpretation, its universal absolute truth which should be clear to those who believe. Yet the holy spirit that christians claim, itself doesnt open their eyes to the same truth, the very scripture authorised by this holy spirit doesnt even lead its readers to agreement and one nameless house of god as it should be but to silly labled separate institutions, and endless arguing? What does this disunity amongst christians say about the truth and power of the christian faith?
