Salem, MA, has an excellent art museum, the Peabody Essex Museum. Newport, RI, has many beautiful mansions, most of which are open to the public, the oldest synagogue in America, the oldest restaurant in America, the oldest public library in America still in the original building, two automobile museums, an art museum and the museum of the Naval War College. The library is something of a museum as the walls are covered with paintings, and it has some early Newport furniture.

Miami is definitely number one and you can put Hallandale Beach, and Hollywood Florida, Fort Lauderdale Florida.

Soooo many beautiful NC cities and towns in the mountains... Also Tennessee....and the thing about NC were i live i can drive 3 hours to the mountains one way and then 2 hours to the beach the other way if i wanted to go there instead ! You get everything you could want in NC tbh

I live near baltimore. There isn't that much to do, plus many people get shot for minding their own business. don't recommend, But definitely D.C!

Nothing beats Washington DC.
NYC is pretty boring after about 3 minutes. Any place worth visiting is going to cost you. The only places worth going to that's free is Central Park and the Hudson piers.
