This guy has a great interpretation, and he truly makes you believe that he is hearing the lyrics for the first time.... Well, he's clearly not, because at 5:20 this guy repeats "fucking dollar sign". Well in the raw original song, Zach doesn't use the work "Fucking", instead he says "worthless dollar sign". This video-maker is gaining views from users while pretending to analyze a song after hearing it live. Come on man, you're making the process of being original, un-original!!! Zach's music deserves better.

Don’t know if you know this but Tyler Childers and The Foodstamps had a song they did live for SomerSessions (which has over 7 million YouTube plays and ironically 7 years ago) that was never studio recorded which was titled Messed Up Kid. Then there’s a line in this song by Zach that reads “and the masses scream the lyrics of a messed up kid” referring to Childer’s song and how popular it had become. What is an amazing feeling that tugs at ones heart strings is to hear Zach Bryan live at a concert venue and when that line comes up he pulls the mic away and lets the crowd sing that part. Which is just amazing because it’s truly the masses screaming that very thing. What a beautiful sight and sound to experience. Hope you dive deep into his albums and enjoy every moment as I have. I’d love to see you react to Snow or Shivers Down Spines. 🤞🏼

Mr. Incrediible, This one is new to me also. Thanks for leading me to this. I had to look it up after watching your reactions. From his website.. "In the video for “Heading South, ” shot by phone outside of his Navy barracks in humid 95 degree heat, Zach’s passion echoes off the strings of his trusted Guild. Drenched in sweat and belting words that he had written minutes earlier, the moment is authentic, brutal, and real." I will have to watch more of him, Thanks for the Introduction! I will see you on down this Rabbit Hole.! Peace Brother !!

Similar style to Tyler Childers.. Nose To the Grindstone (vinyl sessions) is a good place to start with Tyler. Zach is pretty good. Great reaction!

Your review of this song and Zachs performance has been the best I’ve seen. Many people on YT miss interpreted it. Thank you so much. You understood the emotion that was associated with this video.

Zach is definitely in my opinion one of the most lyrical genius writers out today. He has his own sound for sure. This was a great song to start you off on his music. I’d suggest rolling into something from his first album “DeAnn” (Godspeed, flying or crying, or condemned would be my recommendation) then onto some of his newer stuff so you can really see the evolution of his guitar playing and writing style over the last 2-3 years. A few more songs and you’ll be hooked forever!

Thank you for sharing this. His voice is haunting. I think its the honesty and the lyrics are truth so the combo is literally grabbing you and stopping you. He's young! Hope he is still putting out music.
I saw another comment make the comparison to Tyler Childers. The song writing style is both that real thought provoking lyric that you listen to on repeat. But IMO Tyler is alone in his sound with his KY twang that I adore and is much different than chris stapleton who is also from KY.
Please do a Tyler Childers reaction!! You will be blown away!! I want to watch you react to him for the first time. I have a gazillion suggestions lol of too many songs and artists lol

I used to work with kids who were taken off their parent(s) for reasons i'll let you imagine. These kids thought they were tough and hard, lots of rap and pop music. I used to work with these kids and I play a little guitar, I played this a bit. In this industry, you often feel you aren't making a difference and all the wisdom you impart is ignored... then i'll be having a smoke outside and hear one of the kids listening to this from their bedroom and I think to myself "yep. I made them step outside their box." Especially for England, we don't do country.

When he said tell his daddy he's not coming back to be cut down again in a town like that that part hit my dad when I was young and was always promising he would see different days but would never come and finally my mama had enough she got tired of seeing that look of disappointment on my face when he didn't come

When he’s taking about his daddy and “a town like that”, not 100% sure but I think he’s talking about Nashville and Mainstream Country Music

Hey brother. I have no idea if you’ll see this message, and it’s not my business to tell you what to do with your channel, but if you listen to all genres and even rap, Tom Macdonald is hot right now and I know your channel would grow a lot if you started reacting to Tom, especially when he drops a new video. First time here I loved your reaction! New sub.
