Never could understand how someone can hate a whole genre of music, I can find at least a few songs or a few artists of every genre that I like, I think its just more of a matter that people wont give things a chance.

So true, they NEVER play real/true country on the radio anymore. You should definitely check out Colter Wall, Cody Johnson, Tyler Childers, or Chris Stapleton. For a more Folk/Americana style, Noah Kahan is also amazing 🙌🏼

Tyler Childers- Nose on the Grindstone is one of the best raw emotion, heart of Appalachia songs. Warren Zeiders, Cody Jinks, Whiskey Myers are all good traditional or outlaw country. I've also been into Cody Johnson: traditional Texas country but most of his stuff has some great lyrics backing it up. The documentary about him called "Dear Rodeo" on Prime is awesome too.

Also not really country but Noah kahan is a must listen if you haven’t heard him. Literally anything off his latest album.

Chris Stapleton is up there with Luke Combs in the voice department. You need to check him out! Tennessee Whiskey(check out the performance with Justin Timberlake at the CMA's) or Fire Away are the songs you need to hear from Chris Stapleton.
