Apparently the Akaso V50X is now being made with different internals as of this year, and is nowhere near as good as it used to be. From what I've seen in comparison videos, a large step down in quality. But it's still being sold as the same model.

Be careful with AKASO. One youtuber demostrate that AKASO V50X 2023 is not same as V50X before and it is true. I bought one and the image quality is very bad.
What could we think about a company who change components ?

do any of them have the same type of loop recording that gopro has?
Gopro loop just keeps recording over the same set time limit till you hit stop record then it saves that loop and will not record over it.
This makes it great for catching action fishing clips with out filling the card with worthless footage.
All the non gopro i have seen have loop but it just spams multi loops of the set time till the card is full then starts over writing the other loops.

I am pretty happy with my Akaso Brave 7 LE .. got it on Amazon for $111 with all sorts of goodies included. Using it for recording bowling league and other things and it is working quite well.
