Making Historical Costumes into Modern outfits! HISTORY BOUNDING

My attempt at history bounding! I really enjoyed this and plan to do more in the future! The top is based off 1890s pattern and the skirt is based off 18th century underskirt pattern.

If you understitch the seam of your collar/bias, the amount showing can be reduced. The seam will lie flatter. Understitching the seam is often done with facings. And piping. Nice conversion of a historical pattern. ♥️

I practised my handsewing and it takes me ages to sew a little purse for charge for my boyfriend. I really am amazed how fast your sewing seems to be!

if you want to turn it into a bolder look you can wear it with either orange/ yellow / bright pink 👌
