Is spirulina worth it?

I've heard from a doctor on YouTube that spirulina can cause b12 deficiency because the b12 in it confuses body .

I've been making my Protein Shakes Daily in AM with Spirulina for last 2 weeks and my scale start moving pretty quickly last 4-5 days. Wonder if Spirulina have any effect on weight lost or if is there any other Factor

I’m a bit disappointed. After further looking into the brand you recommend, they actually grow in India, not the USA. Also, there are some serious negative reviews that have not been addressed and apparently no customer support to be heard of. This undermines the credibility of the endorsement, and now I’m wondering if you get paid to promote their brand over others, thus gaining a “Doctor recommended” label, even though it’s just a purchased endorsement. Just too sketchy for me to trust them.
