I got that $30 mystery box for $17.99 at walmart. I actually got a silver tempest, obsidian flames, and the biggest suprise was an ancient origins.

I like to get the mystery boxes every once in a while just because they sometimes have a fun assortment of packs. The only time I ever got anything cool from these boxes was several years ago when I got an Umbreon Prime as the "foil" card (back when it was only worth about $15 lol). Got the same card graded pretty recently actually and was pleasantly surprised when it came back as a 10 😊

The older collection boxes from Fairfield are far better than the modern ones offer, simply because you get a variety of bulk cards from different generations and a figure.

I started collecting 6 months ago. Went to my local store and bought the super sparkly one. Pulled a plasma storm booster pack out of it. No complaints from me lol

I feel like people stigmatize dupes but for me, I pause on large purchases that are trendy or when I feel the overconsumption mania setting in FOR ME. (It's something I struggle with LOL! I'm easily convinced to buy things I don't wear or use. They'll literally have the tags and I'll even forget I bought something and have 2 or 3 of them in my closet.) Love this video!
