Dude this is nuts!! I dont have jumping spiders but house spiders and a big boy called bubba on my windowsill. Bubba is a giant wolf spider that literally comes out from hiding when i flash my cellphone light on him. When i do that he comes out for whatever reason lol. He helps with mosquitoes and flies so i let him and the house spiders and mosquitoe hawks live long lives with me 😊

Thank you for the video, this is what I was looking for. Story goes, I noticed one jumping spider always near my window and I live on a 4th floor. I really have no idea how he got here, and I decided to keep him. Also noticed all silverfish insects are gone! About a month later, I noticed two more jumping spiders in my room, and they are always keeping some distance from eachother and I don't know why.
Also happened that I spotted a little nest in small crack on the ceiling where radiator pipes are installed.
So it became clear to me, I might have more of them than in previous case. They are all wild jumping spiders, I studied their movement patterns and their eyes and looks, and I am 97% sure It's "platycryptus undatus".
My goal for now is to build them a small home separately and hope they won't cannibalize each other. I am planning to feed them with these small miniature flies, because they caught a lot of them in their web already.
Imma find on the internet which enclosure best suits them, for example artificial flowers, desert send etc. I really wish the best for them and don't want to see them hurt.
LIttle update: Beside "platycryptus undatus", there is also one "Trite planiceps", so I have a question for you. Are they enemies? Should I be concerned for safety of one of them if they share my room space together?

I have three pinhead sized jumper spiderlings. I legit just barely squeezed the fruit fly lid open, pinned it ever so slightly and tossed them in. It was a huge pain in the ass, but they got to hunt. I'm definitely gonna try to freeze them next time. These babies are so micro I'm terrified of losing or hurting one.
