I used to curve my wrist to get the mitt back into the zone, more so than moving the whole arm, you just turn your mitt in or up or down. Just to try to minimize overall drastic movements.

Just beat the ball to the spot and stick it while keeping as much of the glove in the zone as possible - and don't do anything with obvious balls except throw it back to the pitcher! Pulling pitches only tells the umpire that you thought something was wrong with the pitch too!

Free i need to get better at blocking the ball is there any way you could help me, I just recently had started catching 2 years ago and im good at it its just i only pick the ball when it is dropping and i am so used to it that i cant bring myself to get in front of the ball and use my chest protecter😢
