LA TRAMA DEL CORTO
Bianca ha 13 anni e ha il sogno della danza classica. Ogni giorno si guarda e si percepisce lontana rispetto ai canoni rigorosi imposti dalla scuola in cui studia e dai suoi compagni. La sua forza però è il non lasciarsi scoraggiare, riuscendo a superare i dubbi e incanalando le paure in una nuova energia fatta di grazia e potenza.

I feel like the people in the comments don’t realize that 1 she is a child 2 some people can be really healthy and just due to genetics are fat 3 ballet studios that are super strict about appearance kind of suck and there are studios that are better than that and care about health rather than weight/build

It's ok to be inclusive, it's ok to accept and embrace your own body and insecurity, but let's not forget thar obesity is a complex and chronic condition. For a moment, let's pretend that I have a child. A morbidly obese child. Does Disney really think that my child won't be bullied if she was doing ballet? Bullied by her friends, bullied even by her teacher or even the other moms? Please let's be honest. Because the world will never be kind to my child, telling her "Oh no honey, you're so beautiful the way you are". I'm telling you what they'll do: they'll call her piggy, they'll bully her, they will be laugh behind her back

I’m all for body positivity, however, ballet is not something that is recommended for plus size people despite it being done before. Plus sized ballerinas have a higher risk of suffering from injuries and lack of consistency thanks to their weight. We should encourage our children to try to lose their weight and preach against bullying against someone’s weight.

Muchas personas con obesidad no se atreven a hacer ejercicio por su complejo. Este corto de animación puede animarlas a hacerlo, me parece buena idea. Es solo un corto de animación con una protagonista que existe en el mundo real y que lucha por mejorar.

I think its amazing. Short will for sure help little girls and boys with extra weight to have someone in Disney universe to look up to. It shows that you can be plus size and exercise. You can follow your dreams. Have passion that "doesnt" fit you by society standards, and be good at it.
I didnt see short yet but im pretty sure it will show how hard it is to be different. And that will be ok too. In real life kids (and adoults) with extra weight are made fun of. And because of it they feel ashamed to exercise/dance. But how else they gonna loose those kilograms if not by movement?

Obesity I don’t care about especially if you have a disorder which causes you to not have the ability of other (like exercise or working out) but saying it’s okay to be a random person who is unhealthy is not okay, I don’t just hate overweight people but it’s a little girl who is extremely obese like what next are we gonna have a Victoria secret model on Disney
