Today I have my first video review for you all….the first of many I hope! While I love doing up reviews on my blog sometimes I find that products need a tutorial so you can see exactly how they perform. Which is why for the most part when I review an eyeshadow palette on my blog I will have a link to a tutorial on my YouTube channel showing you how to use it :) But todays video is the first that is solely dedicated to discussing and demoing one single product so I hope you enjoy!

Benefit They're Real! Push-Up Liner is a product that has taken the beauty world by storm over the last couple of months. I was invited to a Benefit event for this product so I actually had this before it came out. I'm late to the party with this review as you can imagine I have had it for quite a while now seeing as it was released back in June but to be honest I couldn't make my mind up about the product. I wanted to make sure I gave it a good run and noted all the pro's and con's of the product before I made my review :)
When I attended the event none of us beauty bloggers knew what we were there for, we had no idea what product we were going to be hearing about. As you know I am a massive fan of eyeliner so I was extremely excited when I found out about this bad boy! The event was great fun and when we were leaving we were given a little goodie back with the new releases.

After using the product for the past couple of months I have come to the conclusion that unfortunately, the product is not for me. I have listed below some pro's and con's of the eyeliner but I find that the con's out way the pro's for me. It wouldn't be something I would consider purchasing or using again really after this review.

Pro's
☻ Pen style packaging, great for ease of use!
☻ Gel based formula
☻ Extremely long lasting
☻ Acuflex tip allows you to create the perfect flick.

Con's
☻ Expensive (€25.00)
☻ Hard to get off without 'They're Real!' remover
☻ Product flakes
☻ Applies unevenly

With regard to the remover I can't praise it enough, I think its absolutely fantastic. As I said the only downfall to it for me is the price point, its €19.50. A little does go a long way with it and it is going to last me quite a while seeing as I don't wear waterproof makeup every single day….heck I don't wear makeup in general every single day haha! So yes, this will be a product that I will repurchase once it runs out :)

This review is 100% reliable. I wish I would have seen this before I purchased it. But, If you angle it a certain way, you get a perfectly straight line. You really have to be skilled with this or your eyes will be burning, and you'll have wasted half of the eyeliner by the time you are satisfied. I wish the formula was thinner, like she stated. I kinda want to get the remover though, it really does its job!

Such a FANTASTIC, honest review! I loved it so much! This product has been my non-favourite of August big time, I find it so difficult to use and I've gotten the black crap over so many of my clothes and my duvet from first applying it to my hand to try to get it to come off smoother...it's a weird one as I'm a massive Benefit fan in general! <3

Thanks for your honest review. I also received both products plus the mascara months ago and I do not like the consistency of the gel, neither the tip of the eyeliner. It does not glides well in my eyelids and also creates patches and, uggg... it's so time consuming to create the perfect wing eyeliner. I do it quicker with my gel eyeliner and my brush so... I'm not a fan of this product. Despite of this, the remover is fantastic! Cheers love!

You said you wished the formula was more fluid, if that's the case, I highly recommend you try the they're real liner in brown. I know you don't want to, I understand, but I received the brown liner and decided to use it, I'm so glad I did. It is much easier to use and doesn't flake.

I actually loved this eyeliner, it never EVER flaked for me. I did find it incredibly easy to use though so I was never really going back over areas. But for removing any oil works, e.g. makeup remover oil/coconut oil/baby oil. The Benefit remover is just an oil based cream so it removes it exactly the same way but saves you of money!

This product was so disappointing for me, I have the same issues with the flaking and skipping. I don't think the formula works well with the applicator and this was more gimmicky than anything else. Thanks for the great review, wish I had seen it before I purchased the product :(

grateful someone made an honest video, I really dislike the eyeliner, its so expensive I could get one better for cheaper it smudges under my eye and in the crease of my eye, it flakes sometimes into my eyes, theres not often a smoothe edge so it looks crusty and whenever I get it out of my make up bag its wound up so the liners pouring out I wouldn't recommend

Very detailed review! Thank you! I personally love this eyeliner as I manage to draw a beautiful flick with it and it lasts all day! However, I don't like the mascara, it smudges after a couple of hours :(

I use the blow dryer to warm up the product. Works wonderfully!!

I normally use two eyeliners when using this product. I use this one first and go over it with stiletto if I want to fix it. It'll look much better 😊

I was 12 years old when I first used this product. It was the first eye liner that I used for my top eye lid. I thought it was super easy to use and I loved it to pieces. My sister had gave it to me. It wasn't flakey or anything. Just really creamy and easy to apply. Now watching some peoples review, I'm actually so shocked of what people think of this product
