What if Poke Balls we’re developed differently based on the “continent”? Like before nations and continents were able to communicate fast enough for Tech to evolve in relation to each continent. So some had more modern looking balls with better tech but other “countries” had wooden or steel based poke balls. Today the balls are standardized because there is a central authority or something. Just an idea.

Super smash bros melee says for its poke ball trophy that pokeballs contain an environment specifically designed for Pokémon comfort which is very similar to what Masuda said. My personal headcannon is that a Pokémon, like in the pc, is converted to data/energy and its all white until the Pokémon is caught since the pokeball is recording the data like a saved game. Once the pokeball registeres the Pokémon caught, it creates a data environment the Pokémon can manipulate (like a Pikachu changing the data from a beach area to a forest area) so it can always feel comforted in the pokeball. To keep in line with the canon that Pokémon shrink to become pocket sized is so that it can be easier to be converted into data essentially like compressing data/energy. I wonder if Pokémon shrinking is how they’re able to hide in tall grass and when you encounter them, they scare you by becoming their natural size

My thearoy on why Pikachu hates his pokeball is just the fact he may of been trapped in there for so long so now he just hates it

In the Lucario movie, Lucario was trapped in a proto-pokeball that was his master's staff and Lucario was around during a middieval type era with castles. During that time pokemon were used for wars and it is directly stated in the film that the flashbacks take place before pokeballs were invented. Lacario supports this as I remember Ash needing to explain what a pokeball is to Lucario. It has been at least 8 since I watched it though.

I’d like to believe that the Pokémon caught in a Poké ball, without declining it’s trainer’s catch, is the environment of that Pokémon’s 1 or 2 types.

Pikachu hates going in a Pokeball because he knows he's the mascot. He needs to be seen by the audience as much as possible.

A pokeball is just a mini Composer. Therefor Pokémon and Halo share the same universe. Pokémon just takes place waaaay after Halo 6 when humanity have mastered forerunner technology (and thus can make mini composer-balls)

That would make an interesting Pokémon episode, as we know from the games there was the person who turned themselves into a Pokémon and people who wish to be Pokémon, maybe there would be a person who wishes to live inside a pokeball? We got ball guy, but that isn’t quite the same…

Nah, that lightning mark on pikachu’s pokeball is just a sticker. It’s probably there so he knows which ball is which.

It's obviously a Dyson Sphere... your Halo knowledge should have lead you to that.

With a pokeball you'd think it would be like Snoopy's dog house by haviing a much larger size inside. And not an itty bitty living space

My theory on why Pikachu hates its Pokéball is that it has some sort of Pokémon ADHD and the Pokéball fully traps it so it can't move.

Pokemon are completely comprised of Infinity Energy, which is the life energy of the universe.
All the Pokeball does is convert them into Infinity Energy and stores that as a battery would electricity. They're still conscious, it doesn't hurt, and they're comfortable.
Also most of your info on how there are many continuity issues on when Pokeballs were invented all came from different sources that aren't canon to each other. The anime, manga, games, and movies all have their own timelines, so continuity can only be messed up relative to their own canon. Drayden specifically, Pokeballs were invented in "Japan", the other side of the world. It's not weird to think that Pokeballs may have only arrived in Unova around the time Drayden reached adulthood.
Edit: This is also how the Pokemon Center machines work. They flood the ball with Infinity Energy, and the Pokemon inside use it to regenerate. Pokemon don't feel the same type of pain that normal organisms do, their biology is too different. It's stated multiple times that Pokemon actively enjoy battling, and that they can recover perfectly from any wound that's not immediately fatal assuming they have a source of Infinity Energy, which the trainer provides.

I like to think that inside the poke ball the pokemon gets luxury life, so it makes up for the abuse.

my theory was that they would turn into the red energy stuff and would be contained that way in a state of like nothing in the pokeball
