Lord as a fish keeper I was concerned it was going to be animal abuse but that looks like a healthy and happy fish. Hard to tell the size of the tank but it looks big enough

That bichir you literally showed in the video grows to 18" lol. Also most petsmarts carry iridescent sharks and red tail cats which both can get over 4ft

I love Severums the different types are all gorgeous. They remind me of Juruparis which are really cool to. I wish they would explain to people that aggressive label doesn’t mean you can’t have it with other fish you just need them with the RIGHT FISH

I work at a pet store and we'll order redtail catfish, shovelnose, pacu, ropefish. Its fun seeing how surprised and excited customers in the hobby for big fish are.
They be so happy to finally fill up their 100+ gallon tanks

I bought a pair of albino Oscars from Petsmart about four years ago, one passed about two months ago and I recently rehomed the other one. We measured her when the new owner picked her up and she was almost 17” long.

Its crazy how they sell fish that the average person could clearly not take care of properly.. Someone would buy it then get rid of it then it got to big..

I had a couple of channel cats as babies; they lived a long time and we're among the coolest and most interesting fish I've ever had.

severums are great fish for a semi agro tank, oscars grn severum, geophagus, chocolate cichlid, Dempsey, grn terror, & sm managia( jaguar cichlid). have fun!!

The dinosaur bicher gets up to 24 inches in length depending on the species. I saw you pass them so they better hope the get those sold to someone with a massive tank
