Overall I really like Hide & Seek, but it does need more maps, more Hider cars & get rid of the annoying fog!

I agree! Hiders had it easy at first, but now it feels pretty well balanced. The fog obscures vision, but so do the onscreen messages! Trying to weave thru trees when these massive messages appear is incredibly annoying.

Overall, I like it. However, I think one rule they could've made is once the zone becomes available for the Hider, they should no longer be able to use chase braker. There have been too many times (at least in my games) where the Hider will approach the zone and then use chase braker so they can coast easily into the zone to get the win.

For people with vision trouble it would be nice to have one map that is daytime/late afternoon. Add a storm to make it more of a challenge. I really like this game mode but I don’t play this mode much because I can’t see in the dark and the fog. I’m sure we are few in number and that won’t change the game so I will be a random for this event. Thanks for this video and look forward to more tips and tricks on ways to play. ❤

personally like the idea of being able to turn off our lights. also agree on needing more maps and car for the hiders.

I think they should also add a levelling system for eliminator because we have levels for horizon open and hide and seek so I think that the eliminator needs it as well

IMO, it is an enjoyable game mode! However, as a Seeking team, you need competent seeker teammates... had a lot of games where there were only 2-3 active seekers, making it almost impossible to win. However, if the seekers can coordinate, they make life hard for the hider. Had my first loss as a hider to a very good team of seekers who actually worked together, frustrating but GGs! Feels like the balance will improve once people learn the tactics better, so your videos would really help :)

Agree, heavy fog is the worst.
My biggest gripes with the current game set up:
Getting hit with a breaker shouldn’t make you come to a complete stop. Slow me down, cut my engine, whatever. But a complete stop? Absolutely absurd.
Second gripe: The location of the in-game alerts needs to move. FILLING up the middle my screen with “you pinged the hider” or “ping recharging” when I’m trying to spot a tiny pair of tail lights in the foggy jungle is so frustrating. It for sure has affected the outcome of a couple of games. Or at least let me have the option to turn them off.

They need to do three things IMO

- Remove the fog. Genuinely dont get why they even added it 🤷‍♂️.

- Nerf Chase Breaker. They need to increase the time inbetween being able to chase breaker. You basically just breaker, go a bit of distance, and then breaker again. I've been in a last ditch game where the hider had 75% and was using their chase breaker when i saw them, and i caught up and blocked the hider, doing a good job stopping them from being able to progress. When they just use the chase breaker again, immediately winning from it. Increasing the time in-between breakers makes the hider have to actually learn when the ideal time to use the breaker is, rather than just being able to abuse it.

- Being able to adjust time limits, etc in custom games.

When I 1st played i really didn't like it but the more i played i really enjoy it now especially when it's with members and we have voice chat, makes it so much better.
I agree the fog is insane

As someone who does have vision problems, I can attest that the fog is most annoying. Especially with the Playa Azul location and trying to get around through the trees.

The best thing I can say about this new game mode is, I like it way better than The Eliminator.

I haven't played this game mode yet, so I can't judge it too much. On the concept as a whole, it's not as appealing to me as The Eliminator. It seems like something that's meant to be played as a group, and I usually play solo. It's also nowhere near as hype as when Eliminator came out.

I agree we need more maps, I played 45 sessions and I think I was a seeker in Guanajuato at least 30 of those.. They also need to adjust something about the streak, my game crashed a few times and each time it does it resets my streak to 0... so I'm just not able to get those streak badges. About the fog, I guess PC users have an advantage here... we can turn it off in the graphics lol

My 3 main criticisms:
Need more maps
The main town map (idk how to spell it lol) is impossible as a seeker
Impossible to see anything in the fog on

But overall I like it :)
