I was raised in the World Wide Church of God. We were always told “Someday we will be AS God IS.” I praise God our Lord ended that Cult. I can now scripturally says it was heresy. There is ONE God.

The delicious irony of the Gospel is that people who believe that Jesus didn't exist or was not a God...will not enjoy his company after this life. Their false understanding of doctrine will become their reality. Likewise with misinterpretations of eternal man. These three and those that follow them will not need to worry about progression after this life, since they are certain it doesnt exist.

2:26 The reading is incorrect, it's not "Yachid", it's "Echad". S"hma Ysrael Adonai eloheinu Adonai *echad".* This is important because of the Trinity, because if it was written "Yachid" it would be saying God is just one person, but we know by Scripture there are three Divine Persons, the same God, and "Echad" is the Hebrew word for one that admits plurality.

What is your take on that time Christ quoted this after they accused him of making himself equal to God?

God Bless Jeff and Yes there is 1 GOD but and Calvin and their followers have created 10, 0000, 000 of their own popes and own Authorities. Read the Church Fathers there is 1 God and 1 Church.
