If your build is even decent then WT2 is the way to go. With a good build you will clear mobs just as fast

I'm playing campaign and I really don't want to rush it, with d3 I was disappointed how quickly the campaign ended, so now I savor every moment, try to complete all the side quests before going further. Enjoy slow paced game

Tier 3 makes the minimum level 53. I would wait until then if you are hardcore.

Tier 1 is just better all around for everyone period. You kill shit like 10x faster. That's 1000% increased gold and xp VS tier 2.
