Apple Music vs. Spotify

This is not even Spotify vs Apple music. It's all about two girls talking about their music preferences. They didn't tell much about both spotify and apple music features.
Spotify is all about algorithms. It's really good finding song you like based on your preferred genres. But you always stuck with those genres over and over. It's hard to find new type of music that you might like but never heard before because the AI think you will not like that music.
Apple music is more humanize approach. Yes they're using algorithms too but they also giving you more music not only based on your genre but what the humans behind the apple music think you might like. I always end up finding a whole new type of music that I like but it's not in my preferred list before.
And then lyrics. Spotify only has "behind the lyrics" thing but not full lyrics. It's a mix between history of the song and lyrics. It's not useful at all. And not all the songs has that feature. Meaning if the song doesn't have background story behind it, you won't get the lyrics.
Apple music has full lyrics section for their service. It's really good features but sometimes I hate it because the lyrics is written based on the language of the song. If it's japanese songs, I am not able to read the lyrics at all.

Beats1. It's really good features by apple music. From charting the song until interviews with the artists is awesome. Like I said, apple music is more human. Song is created by human. It makes sense to really enjoy the song to the fullness by listening to the background story of the artist that created the song. It makes me appreciate the songs even more. It makes me feel their struggle, ambition, pride etc.
Spotify doesn't have this feature. Once again Spotify is all about algorithms. It's like music is made by AI. It's like your type of music is determined all by AI.
For those who doesn't know AI, it's Artificial Intelligence.

Apple music also has TV and movies features. Listening and watching to various artists singing various song in carpool karaoke is fun. You also can find music that you never heard before or a refresh of the old songs.
Apple music has movies too in their service. Not a hollywood movie but the artists movie. For example, Ed Sheeran has a movie in apple music telling about how he made the Divide album comes to life. The process of writing the songs, people that helped him created the song, their habit, and so many things about Ed Sheeran himself and the album.

That what makes apple music differ to Spotify.
When you make a video about a comparison of two services, you should focus and tell much more of the features than your personal preference. Because everyone has different taste.

I keep switching back and forth from Google Play to Spotify. Google play has the music locker and pretty much any album I can think of. Spotify, on the other hand, is often missing some music, but is FAR better giving me playlists and helping discover music. In the end, YouTube Premium being bundled with Google Play breaks the tie for me.

Spotify student discount comes with Hulu and Showtime so yeah Spotify is better!

Apple music hands down cause it merges the subscription with your regular music for ease of use

iTunes has the songs I search for. Spotify is lacking. For me iTunes wins.

I used both for a while but I gave up on apple music and I stayed with spotify as its really easy to discover new music. It works for me.

Sound quality on Apple Music is just so much better than Spotify Premium, same song, volume, earphones and its clearly better on Apple.

Some songs are region locked with iTunes. I went with Spotify and never regretted it.

Apple Music is the easy winner for me! Spotify is nice but Apple Music has a huge selection of Censored music so I can play song with the little one in the car. Spotify only has a small selection.

I prefer Spotify as the songs load instantly for me and I really never have trouble with it and because it supports both Airplay and Chromecast. Navigation could be a bit better as could the missing song problem, and I REALLY wish you could upload your own songs (not have to have them on your device) but overall with Discover Weekly and Release Radar, Spotify just feels like more of a complete product than the others to me. But NONE of these services get everything right which is really a shame.
