Paul Revere & The Raiders - Let Me (1969)

Paul Revere & the Raiders was an American pop-rock band that saw considerable U.S. mainstream success in the second half of the 1960s and early 1970s, with music veering from garage rock to psychedelic pop. Signature songs include a quartet of major 1966 chart hits — "Just Like Me" (late 1965 debut), "Kicks" (ranked no. 400 on Rolling Stone's list of The 500 Greatest Songs of All Time), "Hungry" and "Good Thing" — and "Him Or Me – What's It Gonna Be?" (1967). Plus the platinum-certified 1971 comeback no. 1 "Indian Reservation", credited to simply 'Raiders'.

I used to watch this video back in the mid to late 80’s on MTV Closet Classics in my high school days. It would be aired often along with a bunch of other Beat Club videos as well. Still watch it to this day on YouTube!

When Let Me first came out, Ali Alberini had the 45 rpm record of that song.
He played it, and when the lead singer yelled and screamed,
"MAMAMAMAMA!!!"
