The M4A1S from CS:GO is unfortunately an M4A1, but instead a CAR15. You can tell by the M16A1 style receiver and that long flash-hider. Edit: They also forgot to add the vent holes on the top of the handguard for some reason.

The previous CS M4s and CS:GOs M4A1-S are actually Canadian C8 carbines. The MK18 Mod 0/M4 CQBR or they as call “M4A4”, is the only real M4 in the entire series.
