The old doom design is heavily inspired by his classic look while the new one takes more modern cues and is simply a fortnite original design. It’s not a movie version, as we don’t know what it’ll look like and the past movie dooms look nothing like that.

It makes sense that the old one is the near perfect comic adaptation and the new one is their own version, so the old one is obviously the "better" doom cuz it's more faithful but the new ones still a great new look
