Never seen one of these except for a few pictures on the internet. Seems like this would be a good mining class grader for haul truck roads. Does anyone know stats on how many of these machines were produced or how many actually made it to the U.S.? I know Cat's large 24m is probably overall a nicer grader with more features and luxuries. Although I think this may be the only other grader in that class range.

Would like to see how it would compare to any cat 24. Also wonder if it had the cylinder crank circle turn like smaller champion/volvo graders.

From the experience in iron mine in Australia it went up the haul road and down to the workshop I still think the best grader I have had to work with is the CAT 16 G bullet proof

It wasn't very reliable when it was demonstrated in the iron mines in Minnesota. But then, they didn't like regular Champion graders either. Almost 100% Cat.

Hmmm, I run a Cat 24 quite a bit. Nice on broad haul roads but overkill for a lot of projects. The Cat 16 is sufficient and more effective machine for me.

I have a brochure on this motor grader from 1986, it also had 37.5-39 Tires, don't know if they were Tubed or Tubeless, POLSON RUBBER Made a Natural Rubber inner tube in that size.
