This was such a blessing listening to you go through your journey of Bible study and journaling. Your transparency was such a healing balm. I found myself traveling back to when I was also taking that journey of finding my way and path to reading GOD's Word. I found myself crying with you and busting out laughing with you. Especially when you said, "Oh, just get over it and do the dishes." LOL. I could SO relate. I'm older, and simi-retired, but I can still relate to your journey. My Bible study journey resembles yours in so many ways. It's beautiful when we can look back and see how we've grown. We realize we are King David in the Spirit, conquering goliaths.

I enjoyed this video so much. I cried with you when you were sharing your struggles in your prayer to God. I don't write out my prayers although i do have a couple where I prayed Scripture for a specific situation either I or a family memeber was going through and God answered. It was so amazing to see. I want to start writing out my prayers. I have a prayer book I created with prayer prompts but I haven't touched it in a long time. I usually just speak out my prayers. As far as Bible studies I am lost. I think I have over complicated it cause I don't know what to study. I am all over the place starting a book then I lose interest and start another book. I just want to be consistent. i am hoping now that our life group starts I can be consistent as we go through the book of Isaiah. I like how my pastor preaches. He shares the big idea on the pasage of Scripture he is preaching on and then gives points along with cross reference versus. It makes it easier for me to take notes. Looking forward to seeing how you organize all your notebooks. Tfs. God bless.

Three points. Is it a Baptist church? Never mind, old joke I heard once. But it's good that your pastor is so organized with his sermons; taking notes should be easier. And, knowing yourself is, as you're saying, huge. Not only who you are, but who you are in relation to God and to others. Great to hear something of your journey to knowing God more as well; it sounds like a growing spiritual maturity is in progress.
