Why Phineas's Dad & Ferb's Mom Were Never Revealed

Phineas and Ferb's biological parents have been constant theory fuel over the course of the beloved Disney show. We never found out just who Phineas's dad or Ferb's mom was, but there's actually a reason for this. It comes from creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff "Swampy" Marsh!

I think it's great that they have such a loving, functional unconventional family. At the end of the day, if they're all happy with the arrangement, then there's really no need to get hung up on what's not there anymore.

I think it's perfectly fine that they were never mentioned. Phineas' and Ferb's familiy is blended to show that blended families can be as much of a family as a classical one. It doesn't matter if you're biologically related or not, what matters is the love you give the people around you and in that context, it doesn't matter who Phineas's dad and Ferb's mom are, because their family is perfect as it is

It would be interesting if Doof was Phineas’s father but the show isn’t about surprising plot twists it’s about a fun summer



Also Doof and Linda (Phineas’s mom) dated before they had kids so if that was the case Phineas would be as old or older than Candace and Vanessa so logically it wouldn’t work.
