When you start to put Doof's backstory piece by piece, you'll realize that he isn't worthy of being called the "bad guy". He just became or mistakenly thought as one cuz of the actions he's putting up but on the inside, he was severely bleeding. He just wanted familial love and attention to which he didn't have, which explains how protective he is with Vanessa. Giving her all the love, support and attention he never experienced in his life. Poor Doof😢💔

The closest I think we got mention of Linda and Lawrence’s previous partners was near the end of the Star Wars special and at that it was pretty much a throwaway.

My theory: Linda was aware of Dr's plan to rule the world and she is aware of the inventions and she also knows that if anyone can stop Dr that would be her kids. So she ignores Candace's efforts and in the end when the danger is gone she acknowledged Candace's attempt to give her a long due closure.

Doofenschmirzt has a backstory that makes characters with bad backstorys from other shows look like blessed childs. And he still tried to be an good father. This mans hearth must be greater than the most protagonists i have seen! And Roger definitly does not deserve to be the president. He treated Hainz so badly and still was extremly spoiled, its unbelievable!

I loved this show so much as a child of divorce I have had several step siblings and this show did a great job of showing a good relationship between children of different parents

This is why people need to fact check their scripts. Isabella had a crush on Phineas during the show, his crush developed later. Candace wasn’t “on again off again” with Jeremy. She had a major crush on him at the start of the summer and they eventually started dating. Vanessa was in fact 16 years old as she was in the high school class her dad started teaching.

Best show ever !! Back then as a high school kid, after school, used to come home and watch this on tv! I used to love science and this show some how got my full interest! ❤ Now, as a doctor, as I stumbled upto this video, i hv tears in my eyes!
