You make this sound space age, I had this over 20 years ago in red hat 5. I mean, it’s great you’re finally smelling the coffee, but why wasn’t this in the 1.0 windows terminal release? And why can’t I have this in windows 10 today? I can’t run canary 11 in my day job.

Would it not be better to FIRST fix Start Manu, Taskbar and Explorer bugs (to just name a few...) before invent a new bugged features?
Especially a feature that can give access to Protected and important other Files what can and will be abused by "evil Software" and that is 100% sure it will, because almost everything from MS is Bugged right now!
