Under Armour is the most rugged. But I've found after a day or 2 it carries a bad odor. In a survival situation that might not seem important but I'm sure it'll annoy many and isn't that sanitary. cotton is 'normal' and pretty durable. Merino wool(the good stuff like Icebreaker) seems to breath the best and you can wear it in hot hot weather and cold weather. It has the best temp range. But even the good stuff like icebreaker snags and tears easy. it also loses form quick. thanks for the great video

Cotton is a big no-no when it comes to survival or the outdoors, even in the summertime.

The problem with synthetic material is that it is highly flammable. If it catches fire, it melts to your body while it burns. You can't really put it out.

Well if you're gonna wear a t-shirt then it's probably warm, in which case you'd be better off wearing cotton.

If you wanna survive after an abyss fall you need bright colors.

Good video on the subject. My thought on the "Grey Man" comcept is that of being a Fifth Columnist; dressing and acting to blend into the local populace as an infiltrator would. Or, the "When in Rome.." approach. If everyone else is wearing khakis and polo shirts, you wear khakis and polo shirts. Just wear the most appropriate ones which offer the comfort, concealability, range of motion, durability and ease of care as possible. Thanks for sharing.

Here's a good joke about survival, the Revenant. Notice how the natives didn't jump in the freezing water at any time in the film? Maybe they didn't have anti-freeze for blood like Leo.
