I have watched several other YouTube videos that portend to be tutorials for Stream Deck. But this guy here has posted the first video that truly teaches Stream Deck and does so without wasting my time with off-topic nonsense and without gloating about himself like others do when all we care about is learning how to configure Hotkeys. Excellent.

I wonder if it is possible to add as hotkey two letter pressed after each other. In my CAD Software, two or three letters are pressed after each other to activate a tool. For example "W" "A" is the wall tool. How can I achieve this in the stream deck?

system hotkey works but only when i press the stream deck button itself
if i press the same hotkey on my keyboard or mouse then stream deck does nothing
my expectation was stream deck would display the icon associated with the hotkey when that hotkey was pressed from any source
i haven't spent long looking into this yet but what am i missing thanks

Yakno what i'd like. to figure out how to use my Streamdeck to reduce/increase the volume of a line in Voicemeeter Banana...I'm not sure it can be done with the current capabilities, in both programs.

Can't I just have Ctrl or Alt as solo hotkeys or in non-simultaneous sequences such as ctrl, shift+g, 10? Seems it auto adds a + after ctrl and alt but some 3D apps need those keys in sequence.

Tried setting hotkeys up for genshin, since i keep forgetting it's bindings, but sadly don't work that way? not sure if there is a plugin or so to make it better

I set my hotkey to open a specific app, I even went into the apps option to make sure it was linked to that button sequence 4 hotkeys. But unless I have the Elgato app open on my screen it won't let me open the app with the hot heat press

Do you have to run the stream deck in administrator to get these to work? Mine only work when they want to.

just a question, if i program the stream deck on my computer to perform only hotkeys with folders and their icons, will it work if i plug it on another computer (or a raspberry pi) which does not have the software installed or not ??, in another word does this work offline or not ?

Hey, I wanted to set up a key on my streamdeck using autohotkey for playing and pausing youtube videos on my 3rd monitor without having to exit the current game I'm in (I have the code for that already), but I'm wondering about if it's safe to use that while I'm playing online games such as fortnite or pubg. Is there a chance that will be detected by their cheat systems by accident?

Is it possible to put the laptop monitor screen brightness adjustment to the deck?
It's toggled with the FN+F1/F2 keys (I want the F1-F12 keys directly available).
Unfortunately the FN+F1/F2 keys on my keyboard are far away. Therefore one key via stream deck would be simple, but I can't set hotkeys with the FN key there.
Any solution?
