I was never around a battleship or 16 inch guns and can only imagine after hearing 5 inch guns fired. My father in law was rendered deaf by a 5 inch gun in WWII but his hearing came back and he went back to his ship. Loudest thing I have ever heard was either an F-4 in full burner or an AV-8. Wish we still had some active battle ships to park off Yemen. Thanks to all now serving, those who have, and those who will in the future. FLY NAVY!!!

I’m a US Navy Veteran, I served on the USS Paul F Foster DD964. My brother served on the USS New Jersey BB62 this song is perfect for the US Navy. When you have a Carrier Task Force sitting off your coast or a Battleship Task Force you know you opened up a case of whoop ass that may come your way. Thunderstruck is some 16in shells coming your way. Proud to have served our Nation in the US Navy.
