Something about the Hornet and AC/DC goes so well together

My father flew this plane. It was one of 3 of the fantastic machines he flew in combat. He also flew the A-6 intruder and the F-14 tomcat.

F4, Phantom, FA14 Tomcat, FA18 Hornet. Every pilot in any service are the best of the best. Navy Carrier Pilots take off and land on a pitching deck, 1000 feet long in the middle of the sea. Day, night, in every condition. That's the hot jock.

Plank Owner, Shellback, Golden Dragon, RD3. Enlisted out of High School. Great times, saw a lot and learned a lot. Around the Horn and Westpac. Glad I did it. Thanks for the video.

My Father was a Lieutenant in the Navy during WWII (a navigator), brother was an air traffic controller on the Roosevelt (during Nam)...The Navy kicks ass, takes no names, gets the job done 👍

Take note of things the FA-18 is capable of. If I was a pilot for the other side, I wouldn't want to fight it. Many props to the US Navy. I am an ex USAF F-111E crew chief.

I have much respect for for Vietnam Vets. I have good memories of some that I’ve known over the years. I worked for a man who was in Green Berets doing construction labor. He was a good role model and I looked up to him. I started working for him shortly after my dad passed away worked on a few different jobs and he told me some things about the war because I asked him but didn’t want to re live it he carried lots of guilt and he told me about one of his experiences which was shocking to me who never went through something like that I’m sorry I asked him I felt bad that it still haunted him 22 years later. I was 22 years old at the time he was in Vietnam the year I was born. 1970 I lost track of him in mid 1990s hopefully he’s found peace

This deserves so much more notoriety, one of the best cinematics I’ve seen for this game. 10/10

SALUTE all pilots and crews that keep those things up in the air. I did 8yrs AD and 19ARNG and was a contractor before it was known about. Infantry. Thank God for all those people and while people talk trash about the "Military Industrical Complex" etc. LOL, while they sit safely behind Stealth technology that we had decades before anyone even heard about it etc., etc., etc. Thank God. And I made it out alive. Old timer now and am just fascinated with every day life and food with more than one color. Everyone plays their part, but man, when there is no hope sometimes and the birds show up. Humbles me to the core and helo pilots have balls of steel.

I was an AT3 In VFA-137 Kestrels, receiving brand new F/A-18C Lot 15 Hornets from McDonnell Douglas in St.Louis. We always flew Double Bubble on the inboard wing racks and parent racks with or without MERS on the outboard. Everyone hated lugging VERS, they were heavy pigs to lug and lift up to the parent racks, worse than MERS. Another thing I noticed, unless you have a ground designator, LGBS require a designator pod. We were getting new AN/AAS-38A/B Lightning Laser Targeting Forwarding Looking Infrared Pods.

That old school skin brings back memories. I was the PC who caught it when it came back to the squadron (122 after the 125/122 merger). That thing looked so clean before they painted the checkerboard paint. Jet was slick and looked like a shark
