If you play a contact sport like football, or know someone who does, what should you know about concussions and health risks?

Not being the most active person around, I asked Doug Martini, a PhD student in the University of Michigan Neurosport Research Laboratory, what he thought it was important to know. And this video is the result!

Excellent as always.  Tons of info in under 3 minutes.  So well done!  Congrats!

I think hard sports helmets should not be worn when playing contact sports. This would probably encourage players to stop using their heads as battering rams. I don't know enough about the physics to have an informed opinion on soft sports helmets.

Good to know that the info here was basically nothing new. I like wasting my time. To make it worse, the links to articles on this subject are pay-per-view.... I think I rather have a concussion than to pay around 40 bucks for a bit of digital text.
