One thing about this story jumps out at me immediately. Sometimes, good people do bad things to survive. That is not a justification or an excuse for crimes committed, just an observation. When I was growing up and doing stupid shit, there were certain OG's, not even related to me, that been through the whole nine yards as far as crime and incarceration. They would pull me to the side and advise me against my actions at that time. They had no obligation to do so but they saw something in me that compelled them to do so. Evil people don't do that. This man encouraged his offspring to do evil. Therein lies the difference between bad and just plain evil.
