College athletes should absolutely be paid in dollars and other forms of compensation, just like in any other job where you provide value in exchange for compensation. There should be no cap other than what the market will bear.

The Top schools in America make any money of there programs, when I saw top schools lets just refer to the power 5. 65 Schools out of over 14, 000 schools many any real money from there programs. Out of those 65, not even half make a profit off of them. So explain to me how your going to make a fair system that 14k+ school must foillow.

Now dont get me wrong, changes need to be made how these student athletes are treated. Example there should be no limits on meals, medical should with out a doubt be covered, I personally believe that if there are any scholarships for the progam then every member on that team should have a full ride for there entire time in school even if they are cut from the team. I also belive there should be a Cap on what a coach should make. There are things that we can change in college sports to make it better but 90% of you look at the big schools only when you say athletes should be paid there large amounts of money.

How about we stop paying athletes so they can make some sense out of their lives and study sth more relevant
