This is really amazing! I know the commercial devices that perform this function (complex devices with lots of electronics) and seen also very old schematics that made something similar but also, with much more electronics! It is very surprising that the magnet can be maintained over the electromagnet (repusion) in such a simple way! I'm really surprised! Thanks for sharing this information.

Wow amazing!! Imagine you were able to make the electric energy travel from the electromagnet you creted to the magnet that is connected to a lamp, will that turn on the lamp??

Thank you sir.I didi it, its working good. But i dont have big circle magnetic, i have worked hanging position.

Hello, what's the length of the wire? How do I calculate the number of turns. Or I'll do the same as you did, how is the coil made

It's amazing. Is there a conection diagram? I'm neaby in this so somethings are not so clear for me. I want to replicate. Thanks a lot.

Hi Hobby Projects, Recently I discovered your informative site. I am a hobbyist and I find almost all your projects novel and interesting.
After watching your video, I have successfully completed the magnetic levitation project in which a neodymium magnet is suspended under the coil. This I managed to do without using an arduino or any other microcontroller. Now I am trying the project in which a magnet floats over the coil. My problem is, the neodymium magnet does not remain stable over the coil; it always flies away and gets stuck to the ring magnet. The size of the ring magnet I am using is 90x36x15mm while what you have used is 100x57x20mm. Is the smaller inner diameter (36mm instead of 57mm) the main reason for my problem? Looking forward to your suggestions that will help me to complete the project. Thanks.

Let me see if I can figure out the principle of operation.
It appears to me that as the magnet gets close to the hall sensor, it causes the hall sensor to have and output which turns on the transistor. Both the coild and the ring magnet below has its opposite pole to the suspended magnet so therefore it should get sucked down, attracted and not float.
