I have at least two of these books on my TBR. Ill take your review as motivation to move them up! Nice video!

I've seen a few people talking about Tender is the Flesh (I think it was also in the Goodreads Choice Awards this year?) and it sounds so interesting. I definitely want to try and read it at some point! Although I think I'll need to wait until I'm in the right frame of mind where I don't mind being too grossed out 😅

I listened to I’m Thinking of Ending Things on audiobook and I did enjoy it and would love to see what kind of faces I pulled reading that ending. I got I think 10-15 minutes into the movie and I turned it off as I really didn't like the feel of it (and my boyfriend not having read the book guessed the ending straight away from a couple of scenes!). I really want to read Tender is the Flesh this year!

Looking forward to your end of the year videos! This part of the year with all the stats and best books videos is genuinely my favourite time on booktube! 😂

I'm glad I read Leave the World Behind if only for the survival tip of full up the bath tub. I loved that we never find anything out, and there were little nuggets of how other people were reacting to whatever was happening (which were much more dramatic than the main protagonists, it was a great balance)

The only thing that I've heard about One by One that intrigues me is the app they work for.. creeping on what celebs/normies are listening to? Sounds fab, I'd pay 5.99 a month for that.

I loved Dominicana - flew through it, partly due to the short chapters & partly because of the writing. Don't want to brag but my paperback copy has red sprayed edges 😁 Looking forward to best/ worst reads & stats.

Tender is the flesh sounds so disturbing... but I'm intrigued... is it a longer book?

I’ve read the lain Reid book, I agree really weird book.. not for me. I don’t think I understood the ending.. too clever for me lol.

As a vegan the irony is tender is the flesh is what’s happening now to animals 😢
