--I have yet to get into the Cosmere. However, you are far from the only Booktuber I follow who has been underwhelmed by Wind and Truth. I hope it gets better for you as the story progresses!
--Glad you enjoyed Promise of Blood. I read it this past summer, and really liked it. I hope to continue the series this year.
--It's always a joy to see other Harry Potter fans. I think The Prisoner of Azkaban is my favorite, but I love them all. I hope to re-read the series at some point.
Thank you for sharing. I really like your wrap up format and I hope you continue it. Hope you read some great books in January!

Great video Silvia! Glad you enjoyed Oscar Wilde. Very entertaining and diverse reading picks. Looking forward to following your reads in 2025!

You've singlehandedly rekindled my interest in the Powder Mage trilogy! Hope the sequels hold up. And that pun about the pan and the pen was, dare I say it, chef's kiss 🤣🤣
Glad you had a good reading month. My favourites of December were Obsidian: Revelation by Sienna Frost and Bloom by Delilah S. Dawson. Also had a blast with Wind and Truth, but it really hasn't left a bit impact on me in hindsight, which is a bummer.
Happy New Year, hope you have started the new year off strong 🥰

Love your outfit, so cute 💙 Yeah, the plotline of the woman in Cibola Burn suddenly being clear headed after sleeping with someone was....a choice.

"As good with a pen, as he is with a pan"!!!! 😂😂😂😂

I ended with a favorite book in December, The Teller of Small Fortunes - a cozy fantasy, sweet and what I needed. 😊

I got so excited when I saw your video! ❤️

Excellent video so....merci beaucoup. I just maxed out on my French right there. I gotta check out the Powder Mage series one of these days. I need to reread HP one of these days as well. Cheers.

I started the audiobook of Curse of the Mistwraith for Janny January. I am loving it, reading with my eyes was difficult a few years ago so glad they made an audiobook this year.

I'm 37% of the way through Wind & Truth and agree in the disappointment. It felt like a good bit of the later half of Oathbringer concentrated on not only overcoming mental issues and accepting the trauma, but harped on it as well. The first part of Wind & Truth seems to be doing some of this as well, quite heavy-handedly. I thought I'd devour this book in December, but find that I'm having to set daily page/time reading goals to make myself get back into the story every time I put the book down. 😔

Nice to meet Silvia, the French artist 😄 (also, your pen pan pun was hilarious😂 💘)
Now, I'm very interested how Wind and Truth comes out in the end - hopefully even after some stumbling or tears, it will feel meaningful and right 😇
In December, I've had very interesting journey with reading 11/22/63 by King - it started like 5* read and I really loved it, but then it turned into weak 3* and only in the end, it improved once again - the ending really saved it for me so I can recommend it if you haven't read it and would like a mix of fiction + horror + thriller with some scifi elements 😃 (it has over 700 pages)

Cheers! 🥂

PS Is the picture by you? (I couldn't recognize if its a photo or painting 😊)
