☃️ last wrap up of 2024!!!!! and even better news this month finally got me out of my book slump! basically all of these books were written by Cythina Gunderson lol but they’re rly good and she has free audiobooks on her channel. I also have older footage from last year that I dunno if I should post or not so we’ll see! ☃️

❄️ On the Power Play ❄️
by Cynthia Gunderson
this book is the 4th and longest one in the Canadian Played series but I flew through it. It’s also the first book I read (I think) abt celebrities sooooo yeah it was interesting.
🎁 Past Present Future 🎁
by Rachel Lynn Solomon
okay so this was a big surprise. I read the first one and didn’t rly like it so I only read this cuz I wanted to complete the series but I lowkey loved it. In the book they go to college and Neil goes to NYU and I rly wanna go to New York so it’s funny reading abt the city from someone who is experiencing it for the first time.
🎄Guarding Home Ice🎄
by Cynthia Gunderson
this book was also rly cute and the 5th in the Canadian Played series. I liked that the kids were in it and also the first time (I think) that I’ve read the single parent trope. I don’t rly know how to explain why I like these books so much you kinda just have to listen to it yourself.
☕️ One Last Christmas ☕️
by Cynthia Gunderson
I listened to this book bc I wanted to read a holiday book. The plot was interesting and it had cute moments but I wasn’t that invested in it and I don’t even remember the guys name lol
🍪 Offside Attraction 🍪
by Cynthia Gunderson
I loved loved loved this book. I liked the little coincidences that happened and mainly the found family. Found family is like my fav bc it adds a lot to the book and I especially like when there are bigger groups and obviously this happens throughout the series but this one felt like the one where all the characters I’ve already read abt come together. And yes I did continue thinking abt it for a while except a while is only like 1 day for me bc tbh after I finish I book I never think abt it
🎊 The New Years Party 🎊
by Cynthia Gunderson
I listened to this book bc I wanted to hit 70 books and this was only like 4 hours. It’s a cool concept and I personally enjoyed listening to the characters grow bc every chapter is a whole year later but since it was written this was it felt kinda repetitive and the pov changing and past to present changing confused me a bit. Still rooted for the two characters tho.
⭐️ The Vanderbeekers Lost and Found (re-read) ⭐️
This book I read in 2 days and like 4 hours before the year ended lol. Love the Vanderbeekers obviously and I may have cried bc i forgot that happened in that book. This is the 4th in the Vanderbeekers so I got like almost halfway to re reading and I started in June :) but take into account my 3.5 month long book slump
