Like father, like son.

There’s a lot of lessons to learn from climbing, I’m hoping to pass these on to my son:

Joy can be found in learning.

Asking questions makes solving problems easier.

Challenging yourself is rewarding.

Growth requires change.

Change requires conflict.

Hustling is good but rest is necessary.

Don’t quit when things get tough, if you stick with it you will see progress.

Progress is one step at a time, it doesn’t matter how many times you fall, it’s how many times you back up.

Perseverance=patience and endurance in hard times.

If you don’t think you can you won’t.

Pain is temporary.

Mindset matters.

Failure is a great teacher.

The decisions you make today affect your ability tomorrow.

Use the tools you have.

Recognize the skills you lack.

Choose to find joy in the little things.
