Maybe it should be extremely tasty and easy/enjoyable to eat instead of just looking interesting on the plate? Unless you're trying to tell me that those unflavored grocery store button mushroom slices don't get in the way of trying to use a fork to eat this?

i love this kind of kitchen, but i think if i go in one of these restaurants, i will feel some mercy to eat that food, i mean...it looks amazing!! ANd second, definetelly i will not be satisfied, i will be still hungry and i will eat a big sandvish when i be home:))) Anyway is a very hard work and u must be patient, u need to be painstakingly(i don't know if this the word)!!!

The 2 entrees are really unappealing - aesthetically speaking. They probably taste great but the look is awful.

The plating for the scallop looks awful. Just a big black mess. Doesn't look appetizing in the least.

The scallop seems to be really overcooked. Especially panfrying it in a really hot pan and then, what seems to be, basting it with an unnecessary amount of butter. I don't understand how that can possibly be appetizing
